Hi, I’m Alex Maves.

I left a 10+ year career in the trucking and construction industry so that I could try my hand at growing healthy vegetables and fruits for my family and community.

I became an urban farmer by using the land I have around my home, the skills I gained as a home gardener, and with the help of friends and family who could teach me and offer resources to help me get started.

When I first began, I used to say “market gardener without a clue” on my social media. And now? I’ve learned so much and been inspired by my customers and community to keep going. As I expand into Microgreens I hope you can join me on my mission of family feeding families.
